College Introduction
Hainan Vocational College of Political Science and Law, (the College), established at 1992 and located at City of Haikou, Capital City of Hainan Province, an island Province on South China Sea, which just four hours flight from Darwin, North end of Australia.
The College is a leading Vocational Institution in Para- Legal Profession in China and one of the largest Vocational Education Colleges in Hainan Province. The College offers a wide range of the Courses and Professional Training Programs in Government Administration, Legal Services, Community Services and Information Technology.
The College has also developed a comprehensive connection with our industry partners, providing to our students with on-job training and best practice opportunities. Our graduate students are ready for work with current professional competency.
Our College is proposed to set up its international joint teaching and professional training operation in the near future. That will make our students to access internationally recognized qualification and working experiences.
The College currently has more than 4300 students. It has 260 full-time Staff and more 200 part-time teaching staff from the industry. The College campus has occupied more than 20 Hectares land at a suburb of Haikou, called Qiong-shan. The College has well established teaching and job training facilities. We provide boarding and dining services to all students. We also provide professional training programs to Police officers, Judges, Law Enforcement officers, Local Council Administrators and Forensic Technicians on the campus.

All majors in all Departments have provided with students three years curriculum and relevant job-training programs.
Each year we have more than one thousand graduates from the College, have employed at Police, local courts and office of public prosecutions, Law firms, Prisons and Forensic Laboratories. Usually more than 98% of graduates from the College may find a job straight after the graduation.
Like all other colleges in China, every year, new semester starts at the first day of September and finished before Chinese New Year, second semester is from February to middle July. There are no semester breaks.
